Hi, I’m Cory. I do IT support for a large organization.

What I do

IT support, all of it: hardware, software, network, security, and the peripherals nobody wants to touch (printers, phones). Tickets from first call to fixed. Four years, 5,000+ closed, 4.98/5 average ServiceNow customer feedback score.

Vulnerability management and audit liaison for a tri-state region.

I write scripts, mostly PowerShell and Python these days. A few of my remediation and automation scripts got picked up across the organization and replaced hundreds of hours of hand work.

I teach the IT hour of new employee orientation: systems, ticketing, security. Good practice for explaining technical things to people who don’t care how the sausage is made.

Outside of work

IT is the hobby too. Most of my free time goes to my homelab and to AI: self-hosted agents that run my life and tell me what to do. Stuff like that.

Family first. Recent homeowner, so the new thing to optimize is the lawn. I will have the best yard on the street. Yes, I’m that guy now.

Gamer. Right now it’s World of Warcraft: a human warrior on Mankrik, and the lore has its hooks in me too. Four books deep so far.

The rest is coffee and sports: baseball, football, basketball, UFC.
